Fishing Boats Around Scotland
Fishing Boats Around Scotland: The Colour Album is a stunning visual journey through Scotland’s fishing heritage. Once home to a thriving fleet of fishing vessels, Scotland’s harbours and coastlines still offer glimpses of a bygone era. This beautifully illustrated collection captures the essence of the industry in full colour, from ring-netters in Ardrishaig to seiners in Whitehills and beyond.
Peter Drummond has spent over thirty years exploring Scotland’s harbours, documenting its fishing boats in all conditions. Braving the mist, downpours, and unpredictable Scottish weather, he has created a remarkable photographic record of the vessels that have shaped Scotland’s maritime identity.
